This is a snapshot of Kerinci Tourism Object:

1. Lake Seven Mountain

Seven Mountain Lake is a lake located in the Kerinci regency, Jambi. Pelompek precisely in the Village, District Ayu Aro. The lake is located in the Seven Mountains, a mountain located just behind Mount Kerinci. Mount Seven was included in the Kerinci Seblat National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For mountaineers, Kerinci may be the main objective because the mountain is the highest active volcano in Indonesia [3805 m asl], but for tourists who want to just enjoy the natural beauty of Kerinci regency, Seven Mountain Lake can be considered as a tourist destination. besides having stunning natural scenery, the path traversed is also much easier than Mount Kerinci. Seven Lakes Mountain is also the highest lake in Southeast Asia, the lake is located at an altitude of 1950 meters above sea level. With a height of almost 2 kilometers above sea level can only imagine how cold the water of Lake Mountain Seven in the morning. Even so, take a dip in the lake of Mount Seven with very cold water into its own challenge for the climbers.

Geografis

As the name implies this lake surrounded by seven mountains, the Upper Mount Tebo (2525 masl), Mount Hulu Sangir (2330 masl), Madura Iron Mountain (2418 masl), Gunung Lumut Lumut overgrown with various kinds (2,350 masl), Mount Basil (2,230 asl), Mount Jar Bake (2469 masl), and Mount Seven itself (2735 masl). In this mountain there are several sources of water, which causes the water in the lake is not inexhaustible.

Line achievement

Climbing out of the gate post Kerinci Seblat National Park to Lake Mountain Seven takes two to three hours. From the gate post Kerinci Seblat National Park, there are two route options. The first path, more gentle but farther distance and the second track, has a steep climb but the distance is closer. Both paths will meet, and after that the climbers must pass a sharp decline line which will arrive on the shores of Lake Mountain Seven. From there, hikers can immediately see the highest lake in Southeast Asia.
